We need $275 trillion in capital spend over the next 30 years on physical assets to power the transition to net zero. The overwhelming majority must come from the private sector. Beyond decarbonisation, we also need to strengthen our capabilities to rehabilitate nature and biodiversity, and build more sustainable lifestyles for humanity as a whole. The ESG Knowledge Plenary will critically examine these issues.
