With recent news of Patagonia’s profits being placed into trust to help combat climate change, it seems only a matter of time before more major corporations sign up to similar pledges. The last 10 years have seen ESG shoot up the corporate agenda; the next 10 will likely to see it become even more fundamental to business decision-making.
Examining ESG is a session we have entitled, ‘The Social Compass – Purposeful and Progressive Entrepreneurship’. This delves into what authentic progressive entrepreneurship looks like, as opposed to the inauthentic greenwash, and asks what more companies must do to help shift the dial.
